Does what it says
Where does the water go? My dogs are so messy when they drink water. It was a struggle to clean up the pools around their bowls before. I was worried when I tried this mat that the water would move through the mat and hurt my wood floors but it does not. Seriously the water just goes away. Also super easy to clean and it doesn’t move around.

Mat is as described. It is made of a flexible neoprene-like material, so there is a slight chemical smell but the odor dissipated within a day. The mat arrived rolled up tightly so you will have to allow a day or so for it to flatten out. The surface of the top side has a coating to provide a wipe-able finish. It was my hope it would reduce my dogs’ tendancy to push their food bowl around the floor tile and it does to some degree, but it is not as skid-proof as I would like. For me it was still a worthwhile purchase.

My golden pup is very rough at drinking water and always spill around the bowl which makes it messy and slippery hence we bought many mats which can be absorbent out of which this came out to be best. It’s quick dry and absorbs all the mess on it so makes it less messy . It can be cleaned easily once or twice a week. The only thing bothered me is that the size I ordered was little small to keep her water dispenser and food bowl together with still some space left. Apart from that it is value for money and does what it says

I bought this on sale so I feel like I can’t really complain. But I will say that this was below expectations even though I had almost no expectations.It absorbs the water on the surface, but if you have a drooly pup, the water will collect under the mat and just sit there. The rubber backing almost preserves the water preventing it from evaporatoring.I had it for a month and it never really uncurled. The edges were desperate to tuck under even with weights on each corner.It’s lightweight and thin but not so much in a good way. It’s poorer quality than I was anticipating. I thought it was just going to be small but it’s pretty cheap too.For the few bucks I paid, it’s alright, I guess.I still feel like 3 stars is kind of generous though.I ended up throwing them away.

I purchased this after a different mat didn’t really do much to prevent the mess from dog food and water bowls to remain contained. It definitely absorbs drips of water nicely, and I haven’t had as many water droplets to clean up. My puppy still manages to dip his chin and inevitably spread the water droplets past the mat, but the mat works as they state so I have no complaints. Would buy this again

We needed a replacement for a previous food and water bowl mat and this one looked like a great option! aesthetically looks good, great size, and said its absorbent which was key since our dog likes to splash water everywhere. Unfortunately the mat doesn’t absorb that well, unless your dog minimally splashes water around when they drink, which our 65lb dog doesn’t. The water rolls off the mat and doesn’t absorb enough. So we constantly have a pool of water near the mat in our kitchen. Bummer.

Nice mat! I’ve ran through several,like this one. Their nails don’t get stuck in the mat which is a good thing. Their bowl doesn’t move. I can take a sanitizer wipe to do a quick wipe off. Nice gray color just for fun and the paw prints are just cute to look at. I saved the best for last……IT ABSORBS SPILLS INSTANTLY,they absolutely disappear! I’ll buy more based on the absorption alone!! 👌🏾Update: Almost in Jan of 25 and I’m irritated that this mat retains other stains,not water. For instance,cat litter will get on it and I’ll remove the cat litter and wipe the mat with wet wipes and it’ll dry,but the streaks/stains or spots will all reappear. It’s annoying as I have OCD. I’ve used soap and water which gave the same results. Idk what it’s about,it was only a few bucks so it is what it is. Even still it’s very annoying to see the stains,especially after wiping.

Work well, but can look dirty fast
These do a good job of soaking up the dribbled water but they can look dirty easily (I got the grey/black color). Dirt and hair really collects on them so you have to rinse them off occasionally.

looks nice, a little small for dog bowls
Two amazon dog bowls barely fit on the mat. Otherwise it looks good and is easy to clean. One star off for being a bit small for dog bowls.
